In the story of "Tradition", 'Journal' finds himself in the infamous Iron Triangle with his troop company and they come across a village hamlet that was supposed to be evacuated but it wasn't. As usual, supposed air cover that was to be in place never materializes as they ventured deeper in the Vietnam darkness. And now 'Journal' finds himself in a desperate spot and there may be no one to help him.
