Commando Comic #2088: 'The End of the Road' (1987)
Although the main character in this story is called Sam Hawkshaw the real hero is a truck, an ordinary British Army Lorry. It got Sam and his friends out of trouble time after time, and even at the end of the road it was still protecting them.
