The indicia originally listed as G.I. Joe: Snake Eyes but was changed to Snake Eyes at issue #8. After issue #12 this volume continues as Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow.
 
Duke, dying of a virus inflection called the Madness Bug, and Snake Eyes break into Dr. Vargas' lab to capture him and get an antidote to save Duke's life. The virus has been unleashed on Zimbabwe. They learn they are at the wrong lab so they make their way with Vargas to the other lab, which is in Kosovo.
