Image Comics: Team 7 The Furious #4 (1995)
 
Deathblow escapes custody and takes control of the Navy ship by holding the captain hostage. He radios Team 7 and warns them of the nuclear missile on its way to their location.  Cash wakes up Lynch, and the team members combine their powers to shield themselves when the nuke detonates.  In the Soviet Union, Rostov awakens in his bed having sensed Team 7 using their powers.  Local military forces watch as the team walks unscathed out of the blast zone.  Aboard the ship, Deathblow surrenders once they are confirmed alive.  A helicopter arrives to pick them up, but all except for Lynch refuse to go and opt instead to go on the run.  Craven informs Deathblow he is going to prison and offers to help him if he agrees to find his teammates; Cray refuses.  Six months later, the former members of Team 7 are living in hiding in Nicaragua.
