Shooting At The Moon: Cambodian Peaceworkers Tell Their Stories (1994) By Marje Prior
During 1993, Marje Prior and Heide Smith traveled to Cambodia during the dry and the wet seasons to document the personal stories of peace keepers and aid workers involved in the rebuilding of this war-torn country.
More than seventy-five Australians and Khmers were interviewed to include the views of non-government organisation workers, United Nations personnel, the Australian military contingent, the Australian Federal Police, electoral officers, returnees from the border camps, diplomats, politicians and business people.
Their stories, told with an Australian openness and frankness, create a kaleidoscope of images and emotions about Cambodia today and its recent history.
